Description: Do you want to get outside and help youth prepare to go on outdoor adventures? Do you have a passion for helping youth build their strength and endurance through fitness training? If so come and work for WEA and its Youth Outdoor Adventure Leadership Program! Western Educational Adventures (WEA) runs outdoor adventure camps for kids, swim lessons and bus charters. We have also recently started running exciting outdoor adventures for adults looking to make new social connections with like-minded individuals. Our youth leadership program includes weekly meetings where youth do strength and conditioning as well as learn valuable outdoor and leadership skills. In addition, about once per month, youth participate in exciting day and multi-day adventures such as hikes, ski trips, snowshoeing, kayaking, surfing and more. We are currently seeking a strength and conditioning coach or kinesiologist to help train our youth on Tuesday evenings for these fun adventures. The role of the trainer is to help the kids learn safe, effective lifting and fitness skills they can use on trip and for the rest of their life.
